FORTUNE Authored by: Luo Fu (Taiwan) Translator: Xin Yue (Canada)
In a daily coincidence,
The fortune of heart thinks of coincidence.
I overlook afar the fidgeting white Imperata cylindrica,
That is the swaying movement from side to side.
In a shilly-shally season,
An uneasy kite
moves slowly
in an imaginary space,
To hunt for certainty and fortuity.
Such a collection,
like a kind of love,
It is as if a light feather or a gleam of light
Is recalled vividly and hardly slips my mind.
It is like the fabulous reminiscence,
The softness of life, or the temperature of inner heart,
To be only retained in retention.
Such a scene, it is,
Like the fortune that denominator encounters numerator.
As the morning’s flowers bloom,
Solitude will reveal the fragrance.
