HOW TO SAY GOOD BYE. Por LUO FU.

HOW TO SAY GOOD BYE. Por LUO FU.

POETA: Luo Fu (Taiwan)

TRADUCTOR: Morris Huang al inglés (Taiwan)

Having coming from

Yan Shang across the sea

You're also leaving without saying good-bye

Within these seven days interpreting

what's about life and death

You had had a life in the past as a history of poetry

Like a gust of fresh and crispy breeze gently stroking us

You said: It's, in fact, no more than a kind

of being free and easy,

unrestrained or uninhibited.

I really want to obstruct and cover my view

Not wanting to face it, how to face it?

Am I supposed to greet the shinning golden

yellowing ears of wheat

Or to stay amid the puzzling vastness of the sea

of poppy flowers In the face of such an expanse

of diseased farm stretched with poems

That's the enlightenment in me out

of the bud-sprouting flower petals

everywhere over the entire farmland.
